Balbriggan Medical Centre welcomes the extension of the under 6 GP card to children under 8 years.

If your child is a patient with our practice, you are welcome to apply for their GP card at www.hse.ie Parents and guardians will need to have the child’s PPS number to hand when applying online.

Children who are already under age 6 and have a card do not need to contact the HSE as their cards will automatically be extended until the child turns 8.

Children aged 6 and 7 need to apply to the HSE.

Balbriggan Medical Centre can only approve cards for children who are already registered with the practice.
